Simple & Delicious Allergy-Friendly Recipes

Enjoying well-prepared food after an exhausting day is one of the best things one can experience. Great food is capable of creating one of the strongest bonds between people and that’s why you should always look to cook or order the best possible dishes available. However, a massive number of people struggle with allergies which can cause serious issues and sometimes even death. Naturally, people who are allergic to certain substances should always make sure they are eating food that doesn’t contain the ingredients they are allergic to. It sounds pretty straightforward in theory, but it’s quite a hassle in practice.

As far as our favorite recipe goes, we would recommend trying the Peri Peri Pork with Vegetables out. The recipe is quite simple and straightforward:

Ingredients:

  • Pork Tenderloin (pork, olive oil, salt, black pepper)
  • Peri Peri Sauce (roasted red bell peppers, water, green bell peppers, lemon juice, garlic, parsley, seasoning, salt)
  • Broccoli
  • Roasted Carrots

Instructions (stove top):

The first thing you should do is immerse the pork into boiling water for about 10 minutes. Subsequently, add side dish pouches and boil those for 3 minutes. After it’s finished, add the sauce pouch and cook all of the components for at least an additional 2-3 minutes.

You can do this with a microwave as well and heat it for about 3-4 minutes, but we strongly recommend cooking on a stove top.

We would recommend trying out their Thai-style salmon with peach-cabbage slaw as it is dairy-free, gluten-free, paleo, and soy-free.

Ingredients:

  • Lime (1)
  • Garlic (1-2)
  • Fresh Cilantro (4-5 springs)
  • Fish (Arbitrary – salmon, trout, halibut)
  • Peach (1)
  • Roasted Cashews
  • Fresh ginger
  • Fresh mint (4-5 springs)
  • Cabbage (6 ounces)
  • Red wine vinegar (1 tablespoon)

Instructions:

First, you have to make the cilantro-lime sauce. Zest the lime, chop or press the garlic, chop the cilantro, and if you’re using jalapeno, make sure to remove the stem.

Cook the fish in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook until the flesh turns opaque and add oil if needed. The whole process takes less than 10 minutes!

The peach-cabbage slaw is next. Cut the peach in half and remove the pit. Lightly crush the cashews using the bottom of the bowl. Grate or peel 1 tablespoon of ginger and strip the mint leaves from the stems. Toss everything into a large bowl and season it to taste.

Serve the fish in individual plates and top it with some cilantro sauce. Peach-cabbage slaw should be served on the side.

Our favorite recipe is definitely the Vegetable Fried Rice as it is one of the simplest and quickest to prepare.

Ingredients:

  • Carrots (6 oz)
  • Jasmine Rice (1/2 cup)
  • Pasture-Raised Eggs (2)
  • Scallions (2)
  • Broccoli (1/2 lb)
  • Black Garlic (2)
  • Ginger (1)
  • Soy sauce (2tbsps)
  • Sweet Chilly Sauce (2tbsps)
  • Honey (1tbsps)
  • White Wine Vinegar (1tbsps)

Instructions:

Cook the rice. While it’s cooking, wash and dry the vegetables. Chop the broccoli, peel the carrots, peel and slice the ginger. Cut off the root ends of the scallions and separate the white bottoms and green tops. Peel and chop the garlic and cut off the stem on the pepper.

Once you’ve prepared the vegetables, cook them in a medium pan with two tablespoons of olive oil. Season it with salt and pepper, and stir the mixture for 4-5 minutes. After that, add the chopped ginger and white bottoms of scallions and cook and stir for about 3 minutes.

Whisk the vinegar and honey to make the spicy sauce. Add sliced pepper, salt, and pepper. Fry the cooked rice in a medium pan with a tablespoon of olive oil, soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, and garlic. After frying the rice, combine it with the cooked vegetables and cover with foil to keep everything warm. All that’s left is the frying of the eggs which is pretty simple. Serve the rice topped with fried eggs, and add as much sauce as you like.
